Why we gather

Community is the headliner.

StroudStock is a free festival in downtown St. Joseph where music, local enterprise, family fun, remembrance, and gratitude share the same stage.

The idea

Make a good day mean something more.

A festival can be more than a lineup. StroudStock creates a place for neighbors to meet, local businesses to show up, families to play, and a whole city to say thank you.

The event pairs free live entertainment with food, vendors, and hands-on activities in Civic Center Park. Its remembrance of September 11 and recognition of first responders gives the day its center of gravity.

That purpose shapes the details: an open invitation, a downtown setting, and many ways for the community to contribute.
